Course Description
This is a self-directed, web-based training course that provides participants with an overview of the Multi-Tenant Environment Point of Interconnection and Intra Building Cable (MTE-POI and IBC) product and its features.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this training course, you should be able to:
- Identify the main components that make-up the MTE-POI product
- Identify the IBC on an MTE-POI diagram.
- Explain the function and features of the MTE-POI and IBC product
- Cite the benefits of MTE-POI
- Describe the two applications of MTE-POI
Prerequisites
- Basic Telephony course and/or equivalent industry experience
- Local Qwest 101 "Doing Business with Qwest"
- Line Sharing/Shared Loop
Audience
The target audience for the training is primarily CLECs and External Customers, but the training is available to anyone who would like an overview of the subject. We believe this training will assist you in gaining a better understanding of the product and processes, and will allow you to be more effective in working with the Qwest Sales and Service Team.
Course Length
This course takes approximately 1/2 hour to complete.
