Course Description

This instructor-led course provides an overview of POTS Resale products, as well as the processes for submitting a service request via Interconnect Mediated Access (IMA). The processes covered are Preorder, Order, Post Order, Provisioning, Billing and CEMR Maintenance and Repair.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this training course, you will be able to:

• Describe the POTS Resale services that can be requested
• Identify the unique IMA processes
• Identify the unique CEMR processes
• Identify the forms required to submit your request
• Identify the required fields on each form
• Describe the LSR System Notices
• Define the interval guidelines for POTS Resale

Prerequisites

• Basic Telephony course and/or equivalent industry experience
• Working knowledge of Qwest IMA ordering system
• IMA GUI
• Local Qwest 101 "Doing Business with Qwest"
• POTS Product Overview

Audience

The target audience for the training is primarily CLECs and External Customers, but the training is available to anyone who would like an overview of the subject. We believe this training will assist you in gaining a better understanding of the product and processes, and will allow you to be more effective in working with the Qwest Sales and Service Team.
