Transfer Your Cell Phone Number to Qwest
|

Switch to Qwest Wireless—without switching numbers.
Now you can transfer up to five existing cell phone numbers from your current carrier to Qwest Wireless® within the same local service area. Just follow these steps to keep your phone numbers:
- Gather this information:
- • Your current bill
- • Your PIN number, if you are transferring a prepaid cell phone number
- • Your business Tax ID number if you are transferring a business line
- Choose your new cell phone(s), features and plan(s) and continue to the checkout pages. On the Customer Information page, check the box labeled Transfer my existing phone number to Qwest Wireless. Then, fill out the form using the information you gathered in step one.
- Complete your order. It can take up to five days to switch a cell phone number to Qwest Wireless. During this time, do not cancel your current cell phone service or you may not be able to successfully transfer your cell phone number. A Qwest® customer service representative will contact you if we require additional information to complete your transfer.
*Current Qwest Wireless and Qwest Wireless Pay As You Go phone numbers can not be transferred to Qwest. You can transfer phone numbers from other providers.
