Qwest^® Broadband Phone Service is the new, convenient way to make and receive phone calls by converting calls into data that travels over your high-speed Internet connection.

It's Easy—You Only Need:

Broadband Internet connection

(DSL or cable) with at least 256Kbps download/upload. A speed connection of 1.5Mbps or higher is recommended. Internet service is not included with Qwest Broadband Phone Service. Test your connection online to see if it qualifies for Qwest Broadband Phone Service.

Broadband phone adapter (included with service)

Previous Qwest Broadband Phone Service customers can reuse a VoIP adapter from their previous service on this new account.

Touch-tone phone

You can have up to two phones per service package. A second phone line is not needed for Broadband Phone Service.

Computer

A computer is not necessary, however certain features are only available with a PC running Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher and 256MB of memory.
